It is a district located in the north eastern part of Punjab province of Pakistan. The administrative headquarters of the district is Sialkot City. The bounding cities of Sialkot are Gujrat, Narowal and Gujranwala while on the eastern part it is bounded with Jammu District (Disputed territory between Pakistan and India). The climate is cold in winters and hot and humid in summers. The average annual rainfall is about 1000 mm.
