8TH Class result 2024: On March 31, 2024 Punjab Examimation Commission has declared the 8TH cLASS REsult 2024 for students who appeared in annual exams from Bahawalnagar, Chishtian, Fort Abbas, Haroonabad and Minchinabad tehsils.
According to the 1998 census, the city had a population of 2,061,447 people. Islamia University’s sub campus is also located in the district and there is a Government degree college for commerce in bahawalnagar as well which offers M.Com and B.Com. The district is one of the largest districts of the province and had been prominent even before the partition. The piece of land is rich in culture and heritage. History tells us that people are agriculturists and their lifestyles are according to that. The canal system from the river Sutlej is also very efficient. The area is also divided into different tribes and clans and majority of them are farmers or associated with the agriculture.
The city has a very hot climate and especially in summer, it becomes dry with the maximum temperature going to 50 degree Celsius. In winter, the climate is cold and dry. The average rainfall is below 99 mm.
