Need to establish STEM Schools in Pakistan: Fawad Choudhry
The Federal Minister for Science and Technology has said that STEM Schools would be established in all over the Pakistan districts.
Institution Online News: The Federal Minister for Science and Technology has said that STEM Schools would be established in all over the Pakistan districts. Minister shows his interest in the modification of current educational system of Pakistan and give indication to modernize the educational system of Pakistan.

As a first step government will have established STEM Schools in the every district of Pakistan with the help of HEC. In a meeting with the chairman of High Education Commission Tariq Binori, he describes the roadmap of implementation of this project. In the first Phase HEC will provide provide 7 universities for this project. Each University will provide two Teacher for a school. While in this project each district will have two schools.

The teachers who will join this project will get the special incentives while the students of higher education are also applicable and can join this project. These sever universities will be highest reputable universities of Pakistan. In this project students will be ranging from grade 6 to 10th class.

While the syllabus of these STEM Schools will be plan by HEC which will be formulated unique and modern standards of Science, technology, engineering and Mathematics. For the screening of students for this project The National Testing Service (NTS) would be requested to select the most suitable candidates to demonstrate how capable our students are internationally.

The HEC Chairman Tariq Binori has extended his full support to implement the project to success. While Higher Education Commission also offers its technical and financial support for the success of this project.
