Fake News: Govt refuses Fake News of institutes closure

Federal minister Shafqat Mehmood on Monday said that there is a fake news circulated on social media about closure of educational institutes. There is no truth in such a news and educational institutes will remain open.

Education minister of Punjab Murad Raas also commented on the statement of federal minister by saying that there is no such a news of closing of schools from 15th October and is completely fake. Public and private sector schools will remain open as well as he also suggested to follow the SOP’s strictly.

There is a rumor of closing of schools due to corona virus issue which government has said that it is totally fake news and there is no truth in it.

According to NCOC there were almost 644 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in all over the country on Monday with taking the tally to 315,260. Which is very much controlled in our country as compared to other neighboring countries where corona virus cases are uncontrollable.

On Sunday our prime minister Imran khan also said that there is a possibility of second wave of a virus. He urges to the nation to wear face mask and all safety measures in winter so that we can overcome this second wave of COVID-19. He also directed all institutions and offices to ensure the use of safety mask in order to avoid the spread of this virus.

Educational institutes will remain open and there is no truth in closing of schools from 15th October.
