The board of intermediate and secondary education Rawalpindi has conducted the examination of intermediate class back in the month of May 2024. The students however are now waiting it to be declared. The board has failed to give out any news on the subject. We have been trying to get the officials on board to tell us about the actual date of Declaration. One word which we have received from them is that it will be announced almost on the same days as the last year which was in the middle of August.
There is a very detailed procedure by which the board conducts the examination. Firstly, the board of intermediate and secondary education registers the students from their colleges and schools. Students can either be a private candidate or a regular one. In both cases the students have to pay a submission fee which will allow them to appear in the examination. Once is the process is complete the board then carry out the assessment of the students.
If the status of the students comes clear the board registers them as candidates for examination. All the students who have registered themselves are then allocated the center for examination where they will be appearing during the exams. It is very important that all the students must get their centers near to their locations which will save their time of traveling during the exams.
After the successful execution of examination the board then carries out the marking of the exams through many different teachers. These examiners are hired from the schools and colleges of the region. After total checking of all the examinations the result is compiled and is sent to the department where it is cross checked. It takes a lot of effort pause the future of the students is solely dependent on the results. If the board does not take full responsibility and issues the erratic results it can cost someone their future. That is why a complete process of rechecking is maintained.
The complete result compiled by the board is then shared with the public after actual declaration through a press conference. The students get to know the results through School Gazette or through the internet. Those of students who have not made good enough in their exams and are failed are allowed to appear in the supplementary examination. To appear in the supplementary exam the student has to pay a certain fee. This exam is normally held after 2 months of result declaration which helps the students to save their time.
The jurisdiction of the Rawalpindi board includes the cities of Pindi, Jehlum and Chakwal. All the schools and colleges present in the region have to be affiliated with the board.
