Lahore is the city of gardens and is famous for its history, cultural, food and hospitality. Providing educational facility is the main responsibility of the government and for that purpose, the government of Punjab through ministry of education has developed a board of intermediate and secondary education normally known as BISE Lahore.
BISE Lahore is responsible for the examinations of matric and intermediate classes which involves humanities, sciences and computer science. Students choose in between these majors according to their interest and field options.
Intermediate is the class which is normally called as 11
th and 12
th class and the students take admission in intermediate classes after passing matriculation exam. Every year the board organizes the intermediate examination all over the region of Lahore district where a large number of students appear in the examination. The students appearing in the exams may belong to the private students who have managed their admission to the exams on their own as a private candidate and the other category is regular students, which are those who have sent their admission through any registered and affiliated college.
The results of the intermediate class is normally released after three months of the examination. The board of intermediate and secondary education Lahore carried out its examination in the month of May 2024 and now the result is expected by the end of August 2024. The BISE Lahore has been working in the education department from 1954 and ever since it is helping the students of the region to achieve their desires and dreams.
The board is one of the highly loaded boards from the province due to the reason that the number of students who appear from the board are increasing with every year as the population of the city is increasing. The board carried out the examination with rigorous registration, affiliations of schools and colleges, registering students, issuing roll number slips, allocating centers, conducting examination, checking of exams and then finally declaration of the result. The process does not only stops at the declaration of the result, but it takes a lot of efforts for re-checking the papers for the students who think they have not gotten their marks as per their expectation.
