The board’s working is quite a long process in which the schools and colleges from the jurisdiction are to be affiliated with the board. The institutes have to pay fees allocated by the board to get them affiliated with the board. Board then starts registering the candidates for the examination. There are two types of candidates which is private students and regular students which are registered with the board. Students have to pay the registration fee as well.
Once the students are registered, the next phase is the setting of paper. This section involves many steps like date sheeting, allocating centers, hiring paper conducting staffs, paper setting etc. The next phase is Paper conduction in which the board takes the examination on the pre defined dates and examination centers. Last phase is the result declaration in which papers are marked, result is formulated and then is released on the official website of the boards and in gazettes throughout the jurisdiction.
The board opens up registration process about a couple of months prior to each exam in which students have to fill a form and pay the registration dues to the board to get themselves enrolled. The private candidates have to do all this by themselves and students from the affiliated schools and colleges receive their forms through school’s or college’s administration. After registering all the candidates, the board then allocates the roll numbers and centers to each student where the exams are held. After the examination, the result is formulated by the board and is published through gazettes. Within a week of the result announced, the Board releases the result cards of each student.
